Black Hat Security – SafeGirl Tech Scholarship

Giving Back To Women & The Future Of STEM

With social media making our lives ever more transparent, home security has become more about preventative technology than ever before. Technology, at its best, provides a forcefield of protection. At it’s worst, technology can devastate an innocent person. Smart technology is making home security more affordable and personal security more ubiquitous.

In order to promote our mission to secure families in the USA, we are proud to announce the Black Hat Security – SafeGirl Tech Scholarship

Why is this a female-exclusive scholarship?

Since 2011 there has been a stark disparity between the genders represented in STEM majors, particularly in technology & physics [1].
